SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 29,
2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Fresh Tri, a behavior change
technology company working with employers and individuals across
the United States to transform
health through mindset training and habit change, has been selected
to be a digital platform for Consumer Good Forum's "One for Good"
Initiative.
One for Good, a Consumer Goods Forum program that began in
Hagerstown, Maryland, in 2017,
supports community members in adopting healthier diets and
lifestyles. Partnering with Healthy Washington County, members of Consumer Goods
Forum — retailers and manufacturers — have rolled out One for Good
in retail outlets and communities across Hagerstown.
In addition to supporting this initiative with its
neuroscience-based habit-formation app, Fresh Tri will work with
One for Good stakeholders to support the recently announced Go for
Bold Million Pound Challenge, or Bold Goal, by Healthy Washington
County. Part of the decade-long goal is for more than 40 percent of
employees and Washington County
residents to attain a BMI of less than 25 by fiscal year 2023.
Healthy Washington County, a local
health care-improvement coalition formed in March 2015, will assist the county in reaching
its community-wide goals.
Launched in September 2018JL, the Fresh Tri app empowers people
to create healthier lifestyles through mindset training and
sustainable habit formation. Drawing on insights from the fields of
neuroscience and behavior science, Fresh Tri guides users in
creating healthier lifestyles without conventional goal-setting,
calorie counting, or activity-tracking, all of which can backfire
and lead to guilt, shame, relapse, and giving up.
Instead, Fresh Tri trains users to build an Iterative Mindset™,
a personalizable, test-and-learn method revealed through the
company's research and co-design with Walmart associates. Using
this approach, users select science-validated habit practices,
iterate on behaviors to fit their lives, and train in Iterative
Mindset skills.
