KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 26, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today,
Caravan Health announced that it will host a live webinar on
Wednesday, March 4 to provide a
progress report on the first year of the nation's largest-ever
accountable care organization (ACO). During this event, Caravan
Health and its customers will share their unique approach to
mitigating typical variances in ACO savings and losses.
Many Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) participants see
unreliable financial performance despite having the right processes
in place. For most providers, the missing piece is scale. In 2019,
Caravan Health pioneered the collaborative ACO model to help
providers achieve consistent and predictable results. Today, the
Caravan collaborative ACO supports approximately 235,000 attributed
Medicare lives, allowing participating providers to achieve scale
without losing autonomy.
According to Tim Gronniger,
Caravan Health CEO and President, "It's been a remarkable first
year and we're thrilled to share an early look at the results. This
first-of-its-kind ACO is on track to deliver impressive savings.
With more covered lives than any other ACO, these results
demonstrate that our methodologies and implementation of scale are
the keys to ACO success."
During the webinar, Dr. Karna
Patel, Associate Medical Director of Tampa Medical Group,
and Lori Kelley, Senior Director of
Quality Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, will discuss their
organization's experience in the collaborative model.
Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic has seen significant positive
results since joining the Caravan-supported ACO. The Clinic went
from a zero percent annual wellness visit rate to more than 40
percent within one year of joining the collaborative. This is just
one of many such examples.
According to Lori Kelley, "In the
collaborative ACO, our organization receives the support,
resources, and data necessary to fuel our own internal efforts
toward creating a culture of health in the communities we serve.
Partnering with Caravan Health provided additional support in
exceeding our quality goals in one year."
Caravan Health and its customers will share more ACO successes
and discuss how providers can transform care delivery, improve
patient outcomes, and increase revenue streams. To learn more,
register for the live webinar event on March
4 at 9am PT/12pm ET.
