READING, Pa., Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Research published by PharmaForce International (PFI) shows the average number of oncology medical roles within the four regions of study: The United States, Europe, Japan and Latin America grew over the prior year. This increase is part of a recent industry trend to expand promotional efforts and customer satisfaction in a challenging access environment. The Oncology Benchmarking reports examine a cross-section of various companies within each region (US, EU, Japan, LAM).

The US, profiling 33 companies, shows the most prevalent growth in medical support personnel at a 17% increase. The reports among European Countries – France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K. each profile 14 companies. Altogether, Europe had a 13% increase in medical support personnel since 2017.

Each Latin American Country – Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico profiles between 11 and 12 companies. Overall, Latin America shows approximately a 7% increase in the presence of medical personnel in support of oncology/hematology. Japan, at a 6% increase, shows the lowest amount of growth in the presence of medical support personnel, which profiles 18 companies within the report.
