With 800 registered bikers it was a furious start: With excellent racing weather and top motivation the newly formed off-road team from Delticom’s two wheel online shop MotorradreifenDirekt started on 25th and 26th April in Walldorf, Thuringia (Germany): In the series “German Cross Country” (GCC) the online tyre seller competed for the first time in 2013 with its own sport racer team. Since 2014 the team from Hanover has been competing successfully in cooperation with Pirelli and they plan to take the challenges together again for 2015.

Two vice-champions from 2014 (Gerd Müller, Marc Zaddach) are in the starting shoes; now new motorcycle enthusiasts have joined the team with their enthusiasm and passion for the sport.

The GCC national off-road racing series with its spectacular courses and true motocross professionals such as Kornel “Cory” Nemeth, Erik Ljungberg or Christian Weiß not only attracts spectators and participants from all over Germany but also drives riders from Austria, Italy and even Sweden to the seven racing event locations. “Those events are the ideal platforms for Delticom as a Europe-wide actor in the online tyre trade,” says Andreas Faulstich, Head of the two-wheel department at Delticom AG and the on-line shop www.motorradreifendirekt.de.

The “MotorradreifenDirekt.de Team“ starts the GCC season with a place on the podium

2014 was already a very successful year and for 2015 the newly formed motocross team from Delticom’s motorcycle tyre on-line shop has again good chances: Marvin M�hler (XC Sport 1) won as a team member a place on the pedestal right at the Walldorf event. After 12 laps M�hler took 3rd place on his KTM with a time of 2:04:57h from among the 51 starters. His team mate Jens Steger also succeeded in the XC class Sport 3 and finished in 4th position in a time of only 02.02.25h. Kai Uebe (Advanced) took a respectable 7th position and Stefan M�ser reached position 19 in Walldorf.

Pirelli’s Scorpion MX range reliable in all racing conditions

The MotorradreifenDirekt.de team started on off-road tyres from Pirelli motorcycle tyres from the “Scorpion MX” series – including the popular “MX Mid Hard 554” profile and the “Mid Soft 32”, a very versatile competition tyre. “Particularly under such changing track conditions in the GCC races with Pirelli we have the top tyres for all competitions,” team leader Marc Zaddach is happy to report on the extended cooperation in 2015.

In all the GCC races MotorradreifenDirekt.de and Pirelli have a joint stand so that both riders and spectators can not only purchase Pirelli motocross tyres on site but also have them fitted directly.

In each of the 7 GCC championship races the riders with the fastest lap time in their class are identified. On behalf of MotorradreifenDirekt.de Marc Zaddach presented a new set of Pirelli Scorpion MX tyres to Caesar Karel (Sport 1), who ranks on second place of the race, in Walldorf.
