Appointment of Sadie Morgan as Independent Non-Executive
Director
U+I (LSE:UAI), the specialist regeneration developer and
investor, announces the appointment of Prof. Sadie Morgan as an
Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 3 April 2019.
She will serve on the Company's Remuneration and Nomination
Committees.
In her role as an Independent Non-Executive Director, Prof.
Morgan will have Board oversight of the development of U+I's
commitments to community engagement across its PPP projects and
includes chairing U+I's independent Community Challenge Panel*.
This role will also take responsibility for overseeing a
workforce advisory panel, reporting to the Board on employee
engagement and assisting in the establishment of an internal design
panel which will review and challenge the Company's commitments to
design excellence.
Prof. Morgan has over 20 years' experience in the real estate
sector as a Stirling prize-winner and co-founder of dRMM
architects. In addition, Prof. Morgan chairs the Independent Design
Panel for High Speed 2, reporting directly to the Secretary of
State. She is one of ten commissioners for the National
Infrastructure Commission and is also one of the Mayor's Design
Advocates for the Greater London Authority.
Prof. Morgan completed an MA at the Royal College of Arts in
1993. She was elected president of the Architectural Association in
2013, was shortlisted for the AJ Woman Architect of the Year award
in 2014, and in 2016 she was appointed Professor of Professional
Practice at the University of Westminster and awarded an honorary
doctorate from London South Bank University.

U+I confirms that there are no further details to be disclosed
pursuant to LR9.6.13R (1) to (6) in relation to this appointment
and that Ms Morgan does not currently hold any shares in the
Company.
