Further to the announcement dated 21 March 2005, the Company announces that
2,982,484 Redeemable Ordinary Shares, representing all the Redeemable Ordinary
Shares tendered for purchase or redemption under the Proposals, have been placed
with existing investors by Hoare Govett Limited.



Accordingly, 65,337,950 new Sterling Hedged Shares have today been admitted to
the Official Lists of the UK Listing Authority and the Channel Islands Stock
Exchange and dealings in the new Sterling Hedged Shares have commenced today on
the London Stock Exchange and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
