It went current today to buy and sell.
It kept its neck off the 9/28 chopping block.
Still not making any cash to be self sufficient.
It caught my eye for a few minutes.,

Search Minerals (TSXV: SMY) is not Searchlight Minerals (SRCH).

None of this is relevant. "DO your own DD etc..." - try getting the name of the company correct, before investing.

Interesting lawsuit continues. Looks like Oring's attorneys are fighting attempts at discovery. And Caspersen's attorneys need to find a better expert witness.

Is the consultant's report that accurately reports the nonexistent gold one of the pieces of evidence that can be found on Pacer? It might be fun to post some of that report here. Who was the consultant?

Well, it was a good run.....they took tens of $millions from investors by promoting a worthless pile of slag.

Maybe some other clever group can pick it up and run a new promotion, with all the excitement over gold. Maybe claim there is platinum or REE or cobalt in addition to gold. Let's see how imaginative they are.

To get to this point in process optimization has required thousands of man hours, hundreds of bench scale tests and several thousand analyses.

So much effort to test, and so many analyses....and yet not a single technical report, nor any certified assays.

The only question is how much more money will be taken from investors before this delinquent company is suspended.

And remember, their claims that the slag has almost half an ounce of gold per ton makes no sense. The ores that were smelted to produce that slag pile never averaged anywhere close to half an ounce per ton of gold (there are several detailed USGS sources with grade information of the Jerome ores).

Somehow, the waste product (slag) has a higher gold content than the original ores? It's magic!!?

Are you suggesting anything this company has ever done is "ethical"?

Oring has run this company into the ground. I'm hearing he is doing some pretty desperate and unethical things...if you can believe it could actually be worse! Hopefully someone will make him accountable.

That's a shame. It would certainly help potential investors if they had access to a report that is credible and provides useful info.

Although.....it seems that SRCH is winding down. From over $4 to a penny........

It was shown to me but was not given a copy.

Where is this report??

0.06 ppm gold? That is essentially non-detect and completely worthless.

A few highlights from the report:

"Head analysis of multiple sample splits by conventional and new analytical technology methods resulted in gold assay results ranging from N.D. (not detected) to 0.06 ppm, which is orders of magnitude lower than the content suggested in previous work by Arrakis and back calculated head assays."


"Any form of recovery analysis or assigning a head grade to the resource cannot be achieved from back calculations and will be rejected by the mining and financial industries."

"Although the resulting ‘less than one part per million gold’ in both the PLS solution as well as the VenMet precipitate demonstrates that the process either does not liberate sufficient gold quantities to justify the process or that sufficient gold quantities do not exist in the slag."

Since I began observing SRCH, $4.50/share down to a penny. And not an ounce of gold produced. Impressive!

Can you point the way to any report they may have written? Or have the fine folks at Searchlight done what they have always done in the past - paraphrase the results, and not supply the actual report?

Samuel Engineering. Apparently they did a couple different work programs for SRCH, including a chain of custody process verification which came up well short of producing gold. Must be why they haven't put out a public filing in a year and a half and directors are bailing from the company...

Don't keep us in suspense...who is this "real" engineering firm? And what exactly was their involvement with the Clarkdale slag project?

No not Arrakis - a real engineering firm that people in the industry trust. Apparently the investor that informed me of this report knew about the work being done. Trying for figure out how many other investors knew about what was going on and why it was allowed to be swept under the rug...

Who produced that report - Arrakis? One of the keys to Searchlight's longevity has been to never, ever, produce a technical report of any kind. Just paraphrase, summarize, refer, and otherwise obscure the truth.

If you could get ahold of a copy of a technical report, it would be quite an interesting read.

Looks like there was a report produced by a "real" engineering firm on this project. Unfortunately the report was not positive and management labelled it "draft" and failed to ever accept a "final" version. Working on obtaining a copy...

now delinquent, since inception and forevermore a scam. How much money was scammed from shareholders by the oring scamsters under the guise of validating PMs which do not exist?? The only thing that has been validated is just how dumb and blind the creaky owners of luxor are.

Searchlight is now sub-penny and delinquent (2 quarterlies behind).

Straight shooter? Nobody associated with Searchlight is a straight shooter. Are you kidding?

That's the young Ager who is a straight shooter, so I wouldn't be surprised if there is more to this story. Some very interesting information could come to light in the court proceedings. Perhaps the SEC will be watching...

It's just Ager suing for his piece of the pie. I wonder what judges think when they get a case where a scammer sues a scammer?

Resignation of Director and Executive Officer

On May 16, 2017, Carl Ager resigned as a director of Searchlight Minerals Corp. (the “Company”), effective immediately. Mr. Ager also alleged that he was terminated as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer without cause by the Company as a result of the Company’s failure to pay his salary, which he believes constitutes a material breach of his employment agreement. The Company disputes this allegation. Further, Mr. Ager has informed the Company that his resignation as a director was due to material disagreements with the management of the Company.


Wahhhh.....poor Mr. Ager.

Is this thing finally coming to an end?

$0.04 a share? Hmmm....how low can SRCH go before years end? A penny? The AS will have to go up if they want to keep divvying out the same dollars to all the leeches associated with this scam.

29 "accredited investors" just gave this scam company close to a million bucks for "operating costs". They bought their shares at 0.035, so look for the share price to hit an all time low.

Now, the slag pile in Clarkdale is an iron mine?!

We have also had discussions with Midrex on their potential interest in participating in a commercial scale project to produce iron from our slag pile.

What a joke. Of course, the joke is on investors who have seen their investment drop by 98% since its high. Hopefully, nobody was dumb enough to hold onto shares of this scam that long........

Not sound crass and I am sure his family will miss him, but another old con-man has passed away.

Searchlight Minerals Corp. (the "Company") is saddened to report that Robert D. McDougal, a member of its Board of Directors, passed away on January 15, 2016. Mr. McDougal served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2005. In addition to over 40 years of accounting experience, Mr. McDougal contributed a wealth of knowledge and business experience in the mining industry which greatly benefitted the Company during his tenure. His leadership and friendship will be greatly missed.
