This technology provides consumers with the ability to recognize products, shapes, and logos through the viewfinder in real time. Once an object is recognized, Getfugu provides supplemental information on the object. Consumers can walk down a street and gather information on any object simply by pointing their phone at the object whether it includes a logo or not. Images submitted are compared against a library of 3D product images. Consumers will have the ability to register items and products themselves, as Getfugu is currently doing with brand logos.

The technology will simultaneously recognize multiple products at the same time. The detail retrieved from the server depends on the pace of movement of the object within the frame. This technology is extremely efficient and usable regardless of the handset being used.
