PT Bank Permata (BNLI.JK) said Wednesday that its net profit soared to IDR1.00 trillion ($111 million) in 2010 from IDR486.08 billion a year earlier on higher net interest income.

The Indonesian medium-sized bank by assets said that its net interest income rose to IDR3.28 trillion from IDR2.75 trillion.

The bank added that its per-share earnings jumped to IDR127.32 from IDR62.01.

PT Astra International (ASII.JK) and Standard Chartered Plc.(STAN.LN) own a 44.52% stake each in the bank.
