Santander, CaixaBank, Bankia to Sue Spanish State for EUR1.35 Billion -El Pais

--Santander, Caixabank and Bankia have decided to sue the
Spanish state for the 1.35 billion euros owed ($1.7 billion) for
the suspension of the Castor underwater gas deposit, says Spanish
newspaper El Pais, citing legal sources.
--The three banks have offered to reach an agreement with the
government that allows for a flexible refund, in order to avoid a
serious impact on the state's accounts or on gas consumers, reports
El Pais.
