Sharper Image Corporation (NASDAQ:SHRP) today reported sales for the month of December and the first eleven months of the fiscal year ending January 31, 2008. For the month ended December 31, 2007: Comparable store sales decreased ten percent. Total store sales were $75.7 million compared to $86.7 million, a decrease of 13 percent. Total Company sales were $97.2 million compared to $117.5 million, a decrease of 17 percent. Year-to-date for the eleven months ended December 31, 2007: Comparable store sales decreased 13 percent. Total store sales were $250.4 million compared to $293.5 million, a decrease of 15 percent. Total Company sales were $352.7 million compared to $478.0 million, a decrease of 26 percent. �With the holiday season behind us, I see both successes and opportunities for improvement,� said Steven A.
