Philips Resumes U.S. Defibrillator Manufacturing, Distribution

Koninklijke Philips N.V. said Friday that it is resuming the
manufacturing and distribution of defibrillators in the U.S. after
the Food and Drug Administration lifted its prohibition on those
activities.
The health-technology group said it had been required to suspend
those activities pending FDA certification of Philips' compliance
with U.S. regulations.
