Item 8.01.  Other Events.

On November 7, 2012, iParty Corp. (the “ Company ”) issued a press release announcing its sales results for the calendar and fiscal months and calendar and fiscal years ended October, 2012.   Additionally, the Company announced in its press release that it has retained Raymond James & Associates, Inc. to assist the Company in its evaluation of a broad range of financial and strategic alternatives.   A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
