(OTC:CTEX) announced that it has secured an order to supply its Mercury Monitoring System at a chlor-alkali plant manufacturing chlorine gas. Cemtrex will install its MMS (Mercury Monitoring System) designed for continuous measurement of the mercury concentration in air at multiple measuring points; up to 16 sampling points are measured automatically by means of an integrated multiplexer system. The Cemtrex MMS consists of the following components: VM-3000 mercury vapor monitor, GM-3000 multiplexer control unit, multiplexer valve units with 8 heated valves each and two flow meters with alarms, Any Bus Communicator for Modbus, sample tubing made of special low absorbing material (FEP), and sample inlet filters with a replaceable PTFE membrane (1 micrometer pore size). Cemtrex has installed several continuous mercury monitors for fugitive and process monitoring under 40 CFR Part 63 reporting requirements.
