Spanish-language entertainment, sports and news, reaching over 100
million unique consumers across its platforms. For the 25th
consecutive year, Univision will rank as the No. 1 Spanish-language
network in primetime, out-delivering its closest competitor among
Total Viewers 2+ (+20% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+6% adv.) and Adults

Spanish-language competitor in three out of the four weeknight
hours with Adults 18-49: 7pm (+42% adv.), 8pm (+22% adv.) and 9pm
(+6% adv.). Additionally, Univision is set to finish 2017 as the
No. 1 Spanish-language network across all key dayparts,
out-performing its closest competitor with double to triple-digit
audience advantages among Adults 18-49. Averaging 1.7 million Total
Viewers 2+, 739,000 Adults 18-49, and 324,000 Adults 18-34 during
primetime, Univision will finish 2017 as the fifth largest
broadcast network for the 14th consecutive year among Total Viewers
2+ and Adults 18-49.
“In a time where viewers have so many entertainment and news
options, Univision will finish 2017 with numbers that speak to the
power of our diverse portfolio and deliver on what our community
has trusted us to do,” said Lourdes Diaz, president of
Entertainment, UCI. “Entertainment and the love for soccer, coupled
with informing Hispanic America has cemented our leadership in
Spanish-language programming. As we head into the new year, we’ll
continue to build on the deep connection we have with our audiences
while creating engaging experiences for our partners.”
Throughout 2017, Univision has out-performed at least one or
more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or
FOX) on nearly three out of every four nights among Adults 18-34
and on nearly two out of every five nights among Adults 18-49. In
fact, 67% of Univision’s primetime Adult 18-49 audience is
unduplicated and not watching any of the top-rated English-language
networks.
With a lineup that included the No. 1 reality show among
Hispanics in primetime, “Mira Quién Baila,” and critically
acclaimed series, “El Chapo,” Univision has televised some of the
year’s most popular entertainment programs. In 2018, audiences will
be further engaged with family favorites and new productions
including new season of “Pequeños Gigantes,” new dramedy, “Papá a
Toda Madre,” W Studios productions of “La Piloto 2” and
“Descontrol.” Award shows “Premio Lo Nuestro,” “Premios Juventud”
and the Latin GRAMMYs® will also hit the stage in 2018.
