Wells Fargo Securities, LLC (WFS), the capital markets and investment banking business of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC), announced today that the Public Finance Investment Banking group – among the top underwriters of negotiated new issuance to government, education, nonprofits, and health care organizations in the United States – added two managing directors. Megan DeGrass joined the Higher Education & Nonprofit team and is based in Boston. Evan Levine joined the Transportation group, and he is based in New York.

The Public Finance Investment Banking group is part of Wells Fargo Government & Institutional Banking, a Wholesale Banking business line.

The addition of DeGrass marks the first Wells Fargo Public Finance office in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Most recently a director with Raymond James and Associates, Inc., since 2008, she brings 20 years of general municipal and higher education experience in public finance and investment banking to Wells Fargo. Prior to 2008, DeGrass worked for UBS Investment Bank. She graduated from Simmons College, Boston.

Levine is an expert in transportation project finance and federal transportation programs. He brings 13 years of experience in transportation banking to Wells Fargo. Most recently, he was executive director and head of surface transportation for the Municipal Securities Division of Morgan Stanley. Before that, Levine was a director for the Transportation Finance Group of Citigroup’s Municipal Securities Division. He began his career with J.P. Morgan Public Finance and graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
