Summer Infant Announces Passing of Board Member Richard Wenz

Summer Infant, Inc. (“Summer Infant” or the “Company”)
(NASDAQ:SUMR), a global leader in premium infant and juvenile
products, today announced that board member Richard Wenz died
earlier this week after a brief, unexpected illness. Mr. Wenz, age
66, had been a member of Summer Infant’s board since 2007 and, most
recently, was the Company’s Lead Independent Director.
“It is with great sorrow that we announce the
passing of Dick Wenz,” said Dan Almagor, Chairman of Summer
Infant’s Board of Directors. “Dick was a kind and consummate
professional as well as long-time believer in the potential of
Summer Infant, and he played a key role in driving the many changes

His untimely passing is a loss for Summer Infant, and our thoughts
and prayers are with his family.”
