    As a result of the exercise or vesting of rights under the THUS employee share plans on 29 October 2008, Philip Male became beneficially
entitled to the number of ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company set out below, all of which are held in trust by Barclays Private Bank
& Trust (Isle of Man) Limited as trustee of the THUS Plc Employee Share Trust (the Trustee).

shares held by Philip Male as "deposited shares" under the THUS Group plc Co-Investment Plan, the Trustee accepted the offer from Cable &
Wireless Holdco Limited for those ordinary shares on Philip Male's behalf at a price of 180 pence per ordinary share.
