Addworth disposes of stake in Maypole Group PLC

Addworth Plc, the AIM 'active capital' investor, today announces that it
disposed of one million shares in Maypole Group plc, at 1.48p per share, on July
4th 2007. Addworth plc now has 6.84% shareholding in Maypole Group.

capital value and the generation of fee income from: establishing and funding
newly quoted companies on both the AIM and PLUS markets; acquiring and
developing companies with growth potential; and taking minority equity positions
