Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and automedia.com released the results of a survey to gauge the impact of women on vehicle and accessory purchases. The results were published 9/28/06 on AOLs homepage in an article entitled, Pimp My Minivan. The most notable finding was that women do not list the stereotyped accessories of vanity as priorities. In the top 5 choices, they picked the alarm system as a preferred accessory. The study further found that women preferred a really effective deterrenta system that disconnects the ignition/starter when the alarm is armed. Powerlock International Corporations (Pink Sheets: PWLK) Power Lock is the only system of its kind that cannot be hotwired. A Powerlock spokesperson states, We are thrilled at the results of this study and it gives us validation that all our hard work in design and market research is about to pay off. Statements in this press release that are not statements of historical or current fact constitute "forward-looking statements" within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.
