Continental AG (CON.XE) said Thursday that it plans to build a new automotive manufacturing facility in New Braunfels, Texas.

The German car-parts supplier said construction will start in the first half of 2020 for an investment of about $110 million, with production due to begin in 2021.

The facility will focus on the development of technology for advanced driver-assistance systems.
