DALLAS, Jan. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Alerian
announced today that EnLink Midstream Partners (NYSE: ENLK) is
expected to be removed from the Alerian Midstream Energy Index
(AMNA), Alerian US Midstream Energy Index (AMUS), Alerian MLP Index
(AMZ), Alerian MLP Equal Weight Index (AMZE), Alerian MLP
Infrastructure Index (AMZI), and Alerian Natural Gas MLP Index
(ANGI) in a special rebalancing.
In addition, EnLink Midstream LLC (NYSE: ENLC) is expected to be
added to the AMZI and ANGI.
Special rebalancings are triggered by corporate actions such as
mergers, bankruptcies, and liquidations. Pending unitholder
approval, ENLK will cease to trade due to its merger with ENLC. If
approved, the rebalancing will take place after market close on
Friday, January 25.
Each index will be rebalanced in accordance with its existing
methodology. Constituent additions to and deletions from an index
do not reflect an opinion by Alerian on the investment merits of
the respective securities.
