Plumtree Software (Nasdaq:PLUM) today announced alliance agreements with Deloitte Consulting LLP and Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), which further strengthens the company's application development strategy in the life sciences and retail markets. These agreements are a testament to the success of Plumtree's Synergy Alliance Program, which has already grown to more than 100 alliances in five months. As enterprise demand for composite applications continues to flourish, Plumtree is forging relationships to empower customers in every vertical to create applications addressing their specific industry needs. They are also leveraging the open and cross-platform capabilities of Plumtree's portal solutions. Plumtree's agreement with Deloitte Consulting will watch the companies develop and market a solution that helps pharmaceutical companies better manage and maximize the value of their relationships with doctors and scientists. They will also help educate the larger medical community about the companies' drugs. Through this alliance, pharmaceutical companies will be better equipped to both measure the return on investment from using Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and to ensure that these influencers comply with the federal regulations that govern the complex relationships between them.
