PR Newswire (US)
WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Coates
International, Ltd. (OTC:COTE) (BULLETIN BOARD: COTE) -- Coates
International, Ltd. (the "Company".) On September 2, 2009, a
prominent delegation of professors and scientists from China
visited the Company's Headquarters in Wall Township, New Jersey to
observe demonstrations and gain a better understanding of the
benefits of the Coates Spherical Rotary Valve ("CSRV") system
technology. This visit, which was originally scheduled for August,
had to be rescheduled due to delays experienced by the delegation
in securing their visas to enter the US. The visitors included: --
Mr. Dimining LOU, Professor, PHD, Senior Director -- Mr. Aimin DU,
Professor, PHD -- Mr. Zhiyuan HU, Professor, PHD -- Mr. Tao ZHANG,
Professor, PHD -- Mr. Tao ZHANG, Professor, PHD -- Mr. Piqiang TAN,
Professor, PHD Mr. James Pang our company's exclusive liaison to
China accompanied the Chinese delegation and translated all of the
discussions. The agenda for the visit, which spanned the entire
day, was successfully carried out and was extremely well received.
Demonstrated under full load running at top speed was the CSRV
Industrial Electric Power Natural Gas (CNG) Coates Generator,
including the introduction and operation of the diesel and (CNG)
sequential fuel injection system. This patented fuel injection
system, invented and designed by Gregory G. Coates, son of George
J. Coates, is infinitely adjustable and computer controlled. A six
cylinder 280SF gasoline fueled Mercedes Benz automobile retrofitted
with the CSRV system technology engine was demonstrated and
successfully revved up to over 10,000 RPM's, a number of times.
This vehicle continued to operate to expectations throughout the
duration of the visit. A 350 V8 performance engine was also started
up to demonstrate its rapid acceleration and design to safely
operate at relatively high RPM's. Finally a 35KW four cylinder
stand-alone propane CSRV Electric Power Coates Generator was
included in the demonstrations. The Chinese delegation expressed
complete satisfaction after the demonstrations of the diverse
applications of the CSRV system technology engines and power units.
All questions were answered to their satisfaction. Further
discussions were also continued on the proposed concept for a joint
venture in China to establish a Coates manufacturing facility in
China for the production of CSRV engines suitable for use in a
variety of applications to be distributed throughout the Far East
and Europe. It should be pointed out that the previously announced
transaction in which Well to Wire Energy received a binding
purchase order for 200 Industrial CSRV Electric Power Coates
Natural Gas Generators is with an unrelated, distinct customer
based in China and is completely separate from the interests being
pursued by this prominent Chinese delegation. The aggregate value
of this 200 unit order amounts to $52,600,000 USD. About Coates
International, Ltd.: Coates has been developing over a period of
more than 15 years a patented spherical rotary valve CSRV Internal
Combustion Engine invented by George J. Coates and his son Gregory.
