Earnings News to Look Out for this Week: eBay, GS, BAC, INTC, GE

eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY): The company is scheduled to announce its earnings for the fourth quarter on January 15, 2013. It would be releasing the numbers after the market close.

Analysts are expecting the eBay to report 61 cents per share in profits for the quarter. For the full fiscal year, the company is likely to announce $2.05 per share in earnings. Its full year revenue is expected to be announced at $14.05 billion. eBay is currently trading at $53.01, down 1.29 percent from its previous close. It has traded in the range of $29.89 and $54.20 in the past 52 weeks. However, the stock is trading below its 20 days moving average price of $53.07 and 50 days moving average price of $53.29. The stock is trading at the Price Earnings ratio of 18.08. eBay is likely to announce its quarterly revenue at $3.97 billion, up 17.5 percent from $1.38 billion it had reported for the fourth quarter of the last year.

Goldman Sachs Inc. (NYSE:GS): Goldman Sachs is another stalwart scheduled to announce its earnings this week. The banking company is expected to announce 78.8 percent higher earnings per share. Its fourth quarter earnings are likely to be announced at $3.29, while the full fiscal year earnings are expected to be at $11.89. However, analysts expect the company’s fourth quarter revenue to be lower than its previous year fourth quarter. The stock is trading at $135.95, 0.86 percent lower than its previous close. It has traded in the range of $135.67 and $137.24 in the current trading session.  Goldman Sachs commands market capitalization of $66.01 billion. It has traded 686k shares so far. The company stock trades at Price Earnings ratio of 13.04 and its beta is at 1.6. The stock has traded in the range of $90.43 and $138.15 in the past 52 weeks.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC): The company is expecting to announce healthy earnings for the quarter and it will announce the earnings on January 17, 2013. Bank of America is expected to report its full year revenue at $86 billion while its EPS is likely to be announced at $0.25. The bank also expects its full year net income to be at $2.65 billion. Its stock traded in the range of $11.38 and $11.63 in the current trading session and at this point is at $11.44, down 1.63 percent.  It is trading above its 20 days moving average price of $11.42. The stock’s highest price point of 52 weeks stands at $12.20 while its lowest price point is at $6.41. Bank of America stock is trading at Price Earnings ratio of 31.99 and its beta is 2.34. The company’s dividend yield stands at 0.35 percent.

Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC): The tech giant will announce its quarterly earnings later this week and the results will point to the future performance of the company. Analysts expect its quarterly EPS to be at $0.45, down from 64 cents per share in earnings it had reported a year earlier. Its full year earnings are expected to be at $2.11 per share. Intel stock is currently trading at $21.77, down 1.04 percent. The stock oscillated in the range of $21.76 and $22.13 in the current trading session. In the past 52 weeks, the stock’s price range has been $19.23 and $29.27.  Intel reported its latest EPS at $2.29. The company stock’s Price Earnings ratio stands at 9.51 and it commands the market capitalization of $108.48 billion.

General Electric Co. (NYSE:GE): Analysts expect GE to announce its full year EPS at $1.51 whereas its quarterly EPS is expected to stand at 43 cents per share. The company had announced weak results for the third quarter and the streak is likely to continue. GE also had to slash its full year revenue forecast from 5 percent growth to 3 percent growth. The stock is trading at $21.12, 0.05 percent lower than its previous close. It has traded in the range of $21.10 and $21.24 in the current trading session.  General Electric commands market capitalization of $221.68 billion. It has traded 6.867 million shares so far, in comparison to its daily average trading volume of 43.049 million shares. The company stock trades at Price Earnings ratio of 16.74 and its beta is at 1.38. The stock has traded in the range of $18.02 and $23.18 in the past 52 weeks.
