PITTSBURGH, May 21, 2024
/PRNewswire/ -- "I'm a professional truck driver, and I wanted
to create a prevention system to keep the trailer air brakes from
being released until there is 100-percent confirmation of coupling
between the fifth-wheel and king pin," said an inventor, from
Seminole, Texas, "so I invented
the FIFTH WHEEL FLUID LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM AND METHOD. My design
eliminates guesswork, and it would avoid serious safety
hazards."
The invention provides a simple visual indicator to ensure
proper tractor-trailer connection at the fifth-wheel. In doing so,
it would keep the trailer brakes locked until the fifth-wheel
connection is locked to prevent the heavy trailer from moving. As a
result, it increases safety and peace of mind. The invention
features an automatic design that is easy to employ so it is ideal
for fifth-wheel manufacturers, trucking companies and professional
truck drivers.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office
of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to
manufacturers or marketers. For more information, write Dept.
