Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said Liz Beshel Robinson, the Wall
Street firm's treasurer, will retire at the end of the year.
Robin Vince will succeed Ms. Robinson in the role, Goldman
executives wrote Wednesday in a memorandum to employees.
Mr. Vince, the global head of Goldman's operations division
since 2006, joined the firm in 1994 as an analyst. Ms. Robinson
joined Goldman's investment-banking division in 1990 and "was an
integral part of the firmwide team that executed the firm's IPO in
1999," the memo said. She became the Wall Street firm's global
treasurer in 2005.
The New York firm also named Laurence Stein as global head of
operations to succeed Mr. Vince. All three executives became
Goldman partners in 2006.
