Health sciences and economic leader David Johnson to address INVESTIndiana Equity Conference

An Indiana leader who raises millions of dollars of seed money,
directs a strategic partnership of CEOs, university presidents and
other business VIPs, and is a prominent face of the Indiana
Economic Club will be the keynote speaker at the Sept. 15
INVESTIndiana Equity Conference.
David L. Johnson, president and CEO of the Central
Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), CEO of the BioCrossroads life
sciences initiative and president of the Indiana Economic Club,
will open the conference, to be held at the Indianapolis Downtown
Marriott. The event allows professional investors and fund
managers to interact with leading Indiana public companies. This
year, the lineup of 16 Indiana companies includes health sciences
giants Eli Lilly (NYSE:LLY) and Zimmer Biomet (NYSE:ZBH), seven
Indiana-based financial institutions and other key Indiana public
companies.
Since 2013, Johnson has been leading CICP, an
entity formed to collaborate the efforts of corporate executives,
higher education leaders and others in a strategic way, to foster
regional prosperity and growth. CICP sponsors six key economic
development initiatives, each of which addresses challenges and
opportunities unique to its respective sector: agricultural
innovation, life sciences, workforce development, advanced
manufacturing and logistics, energy technology and technology.

incubating in CICP initiatives,” said Terry McWilliams, an investor
