Italian oil major Eni S.p.A (ENI.MI) has restored production on
the damaged Agip oil pipeline in Brass, Nigeria, according to a
company spokesperson.
Around 16,000 barrels a day of Eni's exports were affected over
three days. The company declined to comment on the cause of the
damage.
Nigeria's new oil minister, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, is trying to
crack down on oil theft, but there have been several attempted
cases in the past couple of months.
