FuturaGene announces that at the Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary
General Meeting held earlier today, all the resolutions proposed at the meetings
were duly passed.



The Board of FuturaGene announce that Nigel Weller has resigned as a
non-executive director of the Company to pursue other business interests with
immediate effect.  The Board would like to thank Nigel for his contribution and
wish him well in the future.
