Diversified holding company PT Astra International (ASII.JK) said late Thursday that it has increased its stake in two units, PT Astra Sedaya Finance and PT Sedaya Pratama, to 100% of each unit from 53%.

Astra said it has signed a conditional share sale and purchase agreement with General Electric Capital Corp. to buy a 47% stake in PT Astra Sedaya Finance and also in PT Sedaya Pratama.

Astra didn't disclose the value of the transactions, but said the transactions are immaterial as they are worth less than 20% of Astra International's total equity capital.

The company also didn't say why General Electric has sold its stakes in the two joint ventures.
