Apex Capital Corp. ('Apex' or the 'Corporation') (TSX VENTURE:AAX) is pleased to
provide the following operations update.


Apex has drilled and cased its Alberta Pakowki Section 13 prospect. Completion
operations will commence as soon as practically possible.


Apex's Buffalo Coulee Bakken heavy oil and Viking prospect in SW Saskatchewan is
currently being licensed. Apex expects to spud the well this summer.


Also, concurrent with its plan to secure acreage in Colombia, Apex is pleased to
announce that it has secured the services of Roberto Aguilera for a minimum five
month period to assist in the bidding on prospective Colombian acreage. Mr.
Aguilera is a native Colombian and has twelve years of petroleum geological
experience within the Colombian basins.
