FRANKLIN, Wis., July 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VUANCE Ltd. (NASDAQ: VUNC), a leading provider of innovative Radio Frequency Verification Solutions, including active RFID, electronic access control, credentialing, accountability and incident response management, today announced that it is delivering a new integrated security system based on VUANCE's proprietary Managed Automated Security Controls (MASC) system to protect the facilities for Allens, Inc. a privately held, family-owned company, located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, that grows and packs vegetables under 11 well-known brand names. This is a five year-project and anticipated to be worth approximately $5 million over the course of the contract. The contract includes a range of VUANCE-based Security Products with the MASC system at the heart of the integrated system. The comprehensive security system will monitor and control activity and movement, creating an intelligent, easy-to-use, powerful security communications network throughout the Company's facilities. Allens, which is working with Orion Security, a VUANCE systems integrator, has initially implemented access control at five facilities and, long term, expects the number of facilities to increase to 15-20, encompassing approximately 1,500 employees. As the system is rolled out, it will also include video surveillance, RFID functionality for truck scales, and critical control integrated into the MASC system. The company is reconfiguring perimeter control at their facilities, as necessary, to optimize the MASC system solution. "Proactive and forward-thinking organizations are increasingly recognizing the need to securely and effectively manage their facilities and their business assets with the best state-of-the-art monitoring systems available to them," said Eyal Tuchman, Chief Executive Officer of VUANCE, Ltd. "Our MASC system is differentiated by its more robust functionality and flexibility than other systems on the market and by our software and user interface capabilities that are easy to use and deploy. The easily managed, easily accessed system provides decisive information at any moment and especially where time is critical. Our partnership with Allens, Inc. is delivering a best-in-class system that uniquely meets their long-term requirements." Mike Gatlin, Director of Safety and Security at Allens, commented, "Our decision to implement the VUANCE system was due to several important factors. The MASC system infrastructure and the system's ladder logic design make this system versatile and user friendly. To make changes, all we have to do is drag and click. Long term, the ability to integrate the system with our programmable logic interface was extremely important to our overall critical control. In addition, the VUANCE staff and engineers have been very helpful, responsive and easy to work with." About Allens, Inc. Allens has been in the vegetable business since 1926.
