Tuesday 2nd October, 2003, Hook, Hampshire: SAMSUNG LICENSING AGREEMENT FOR
SUPERSCAPE AND ARM

Superscape Group plc (LSE: SPS) announces that Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, one
of the world's largest mobile handset manufacturers, has licensed the ARM Swerve
i3D Graphics Client, jointly developed by ARM ((LSE: ARM), (Nasdaq: ARMHY)) and
Superscape. The Swerve i3D Graphics Client has been licensed for a new series of
Linux-based Samsung SmartPhones (Mobile Intelligent Terminals - MITs). Swerve
i3D Graphics Client includes support for JSR 184, the global standard for 3D
Java applications on mobile handsets which is due to be ratified later this year
and the OpenGL ES standard.

In addition, two new interactive 3D games developed using Superscape's Swerve
Author software will be included in the launch of the new SmartPhones (MITs)
scheduled for release later this year.

software-rendering engine bringing console quality 3D Java (and native)
applications to wireless devices. Already ported to 17 different platforms,
including MIDP 1.0, 2.0, Symbian, Linux, Brew, Pocket PC (2000, 02, 03) and
several RTOS, it can easily be embedded on any device.

     High performance 3D software solution fully optimised by ARM to run on ARM

     Fully compliant with JSR 184 as soon as the standard is ratified

     Low cost solution with small memory footprint in both RAM and ROM

Swerve Client 1.0 is available today. Swerve Client 2.0, our JSR 184 compliant
solution, will be commercially available as soon as the standard is ratified
(estimated Sept. 2003).

for creating high quality interactive 3D graphics for wireless applications.
Built around the industry standard design tool 3ds maxTM, it is the solution of

emulators, prototyping environment, behaviour scripting & brick-based behaviour
