Social Justice Committee and giving away more shares to Directors and Officers as compensation on Valentine's Day because they don't have the revenue to compensate them otherwise does not give me warm fuzzies.

Neither of these actions are going to lead to more Revenue, let alone profits. It's just more dilution and patting themselves on the back, period.

I added a few thousand at the gap at 9 been waiting a while wasn't sure it would get there but it did.
Now I suspect it will climb. NExt down gap is .52 and I don't know what caused that one, but I don't expect it to fill unless gold crashesbelow 1500. As of now looks like the bottom is in or very close I don't think it will breal 1650. Next week may be interesting if major markets get hit hard which it beginning o look like may happen

they are paying 11mil for royalties at OZ and JAG looks steep that may be why SP is dropping

big is just a number in your mind. It may be big compare to what someone else holds. Its what you are comfortable with that matters

thanks tomdiana Looks like the metals are about to take a correction from this parabolic run. IF so MTA should drop providing us with a great buying op CMCL which is a nice div is dropping I really like that one too.

If gold keeps rising due to the actions of the Federal Reserve, the sky is the limit. The more gold goes up the more valuable the company is as they already have the royalties to that gold at a lower price. I have held MTA for a few years and haven't sold one share.

I saw on a Kitco interview, EB Tucker said it was cut temporarily due to covid19 production issues of the miners. Hopefully it gets resumes soon as I also bought for the dividends but can't complain about the capital appreciation.

Depends on your timeframe. On their website there is an overview of all their royalties & streams (https://www.metallaroyalty.com/royalty-list/ ). As you can see, many are still in development or exploration. These currently don't generate cashflow but will/should in the long run.

While gradually more royalties/streams will move from development/exploration to production, MTA's economics will improve and so should the share price. All the while they are still making deals to increase the amount of royalties/streams, increasing the long term potential further.

Short term price can go :2 or x2 or even more depending on how crazy people will act on increases/decreases in PM prices. Long term, in my opinion, the only way is up.

What happened to the div. I haven't had one since MAy 19

I saw a post on SA that was a perfect summary of how i saw it:

"Metalla bought its own shares back from CDE and aquired a new royalty?
That’s fantastic news.
Why the drop in share price? [sic]"


How i understand it is that MTA buys their own shares at 5.3 USD from CDE (reducing CDE's stake to 4%). In the transaction they also get a royalty from CDE.

The only "downside" i see, is temporarily a lower price. But if i'm missing something important, feel free to add your opinion.

I've seen a lot of deals involving stock, options, warrants, mergers, all kinds of everything, but I'm having a hard time understanding just who is exchanging what for what on this one. Seems like a lot of spit swapping. Can anyone explain this deal in plain simple terms?

why 5.90 it s hogh was 5.74, my last fill was 5.537 when I bid 5.55, I would think you will fill at the ask if not lower.

I raised my bid again and it filled, but not at my bid but a lower one with a 3rd didget so looks like it was on the other exchange, also the vol on Schwab did not change. When I was getting fills at 5.35 they showed up on the vol.

Great buy. I pulled the trigger at 5.90. not worried in the slightest

I did get a few shares at 5.35. Have an order in between the B & A not getting filled even whn the last is below mine. Its no longer on the little board so on NYSE should be getting filled unless odd lost are on the other exchage.

Not sure myself, but I'd consider it a buying opportunity. Gold spot on a run as I type too. Nothing but upside from here IMO
