Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL): The stock is trading up on the rumors of the company going private. It has already traded 42.661 million shares, in comparison to its regular trading volume of 23.451 million shares.

Dell is currently trading at $12.48, up 1.55 percent from its previous close. It has traded in the range of $12.42 and $12.73 in the past 52 weeks. However, the stock is trading above its 20 days moving average price of $12.3 and 50 days moving average price of $11.58. The stock is trading at the Price Earnings ratio of 8.34. Dell is rumored to be in talks with two major private equity firms Silver Lake and TPG. Dell currently has market capitalization of $21.82 billion. The company is engaged in computer industry and was formed in 1984. Dell also offers networking and server products. The company is based out of Round Rock in Texas.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB): It is currently trading at $31.37, up 1.35 percent. The stock is also trading above than its 20 days moving average price of $31.14 and 50 days moving average price of $31.31. The stock has been on upward spring from last couple of trading sessions. It has also gone up in the current trading session with heavy volumes. Facebook has traded 36.357 million shares so far while its average trading volume stands at 68.39 million shares. The social media company is holding a mystery event later today and the stock is trading up on the anticipation. The company stock is also receiving rating upgrades. Recently Deutsche Bank upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy. Facebook commands market capitalization of $67.46 billion. The stock’s Price Earnings ratio is 161.35. The company engages in social media services and offers advertising products. Facebook is based out of Menlo Park in California.

Research in Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM): The stock has gone down with heavy volumes and has already traded 32.745 million shares. Its usual daily trading volume is 38.809 million shares. The stock is trading at $14.34, 4.08 percent lower than its previous close. It has traded in the range of $14.24 and $15.06 in the current trading session.  Research in Motion commands market capitalization of $7.35 billion. The stock is trading down despite receiving rating upgrade from Charter Equity. The stock’s new rating is Buy, up from Underperform rating. Charter Equity expressed its optimism about the upcoming introduction BB10. The company stock trades at beta of 1.54. The stock has traded in the range of $6.22 and $17.96 in the past 52 weeks. Research in Motion deals in wireless solutions and offers telecommunication services globally. The company is based out of Waterloo and it was formed in 1984.

Hewlett Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ): The stock is currently trading at $16.44, down 3.01 percent. The stock oscillated in the range of $16.38 and $16.86 in the current trading session. Hewlett Packard’s current trading volume stands at 19.073 million shares, in comparison to its average daily trading volume of 30.293 million. The stock is down on the rumors of impending layoffs in Autonomy unit. The company will also be infusing new talent at the same time. According to a report released by Gartner, the company also retained its status as the top seller of personal computers in 2012. Hewlett Packard reportedly commanded 16 percent market share and shipped 56.5 million PCs globally. In the past 52 weeks, the stock’s price range has been $11.35 and $30.00.  Hewlett Packard reported its latest EPS at -$6.41. The company stock’s beta stands at 1.4. It commands the market capitalization of $31.97 billion.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): The stock is down on heavy volumes and has traded 16.131 million shares by mid-day, in comparison to average trading volume of 21.191 million shares. Apple is continuing its downward fall and the stock is currently trading at $485.47, down 3.33 percent from its previous closing price. Nomura reported that it has slashed its iPhone sales estimates for year 2013. Nomura slashes iPhone sales volume for the December quarter to 48 million units. The full year sales estimate has been slashed by 9 million to 157 million units. Apple stock traded in the range of $485.60 and $498.97 in the current trading session.  It is trading below its 20 days moving average price of $486.71. The stock’s highest price point of 52 weeks stands at $705.07 while its lowest price point is at $419.55.
