The Future of Cannabis Business Events – Hall of Flowers and
WeedCon
WPI, Santa Rosa, CA, On
Tuesday, September 18th, The Hall of
Flowers concluded their two day B2B Expo for the cannabis Industry
at the Sonoma County Fair grounds. With the mission of bringing
together the most innovative brands, retailers, and industry
insiders and to incubate the future of cannabis brands, Hall of
Flowers is part of the new wave of B2B networking in the cannabis
industry – the lifestyle trade show.
The Hall Of Flowers (referring to the buds of the cannabis plant
as "flowers") included growers and other industry participants
including Canndescent, Flow Kana, Autumn
Brands, Timeless, Henry's Original, Mota and over 130 other
company's participating. The event also attracted hundreds of
attendees from around the cannabis industry and they all filled the
room to see keynote speaker Gary
Vaynerchuk an early Facebook and Uber Investor and CEO of
VaynerMedia, a full service digital agency.
The message from Mr. Vaynerchuk? This industry is exploding and
investors and market participants need to be prepared. The cannabis
industry is not only exploding in growth but evolving. With the
FDA's recent approval of a derivation of the marijuana plant as a
treatment for children's seizures, the decriminalization of the
plant must follow and when that happens, doors open for cannabis
business owners nationwide.
With a projected growth from 7 billion to over 50 billion in the
next five years, the cannabis industry is creating multi-billion
dollar sub-industries along with it. With the primary focus on the
health and wellness aspects of cannabis, companies are making
products from infused drinks, to body lotions, to relaxing bath
salts designed and tested to produce a desired effect on the
consumer. "Cannabis products can be designed to help various
ailments including insomnia, nervousness and pain caused by
inflammation," says Kristina Aguirre
of Mary's Medicinals a cannabis company focusing on the healing
benefits. "It is time for people to be educated about the medicinal
qualities of this amazing plant," she adds.
Cannabis shows focusing on the education and business aspect of
the industry include the World Entrepreneurs Economic Development
Conference in Ojai, CA or WeedCon
