Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has received a high vendor assessment for
its Accenture CAS, Accenture Cloud Retail Execution and Accenture NewsPage
consumer goods software solutions in Promotion Optimization
Institute’s (POI) recently published “Retail Execution Vendor
Panorama 2016.”
Accenture CAS received Best in Class rankings for the Data
Visualization and Gamification categories, while Accenture NewsPage
received a Best in Class ranking for Distributor Management.
Accenture CAS, Accenture Cloud Retail Execution and Accenture
NewsPage received the highest scores across the product assessment
for Product Aptness & Flexibility; Delivery Flexibility;
Solution Competitiveness; “Sell More” Capabilities; User
Experience; Analytical Capabilities; Product Vision and
Configurability.
POI assessed 21 products from 20 service providers for the
Vendor Panorama, which is designed to help consumer goods companies
improve their in-store execution through the use of enabling
technology.
In the report POI states, “Regardless of the route to market,
consumer goods companies and their distribution partners must be
able to execute at the individual store level because if the
product is not available, merchandized correctly, and promoted
effectively the consumer will likely purchase from a
competitor”.
