DALLAS, April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Customers of
DIRECTV, the satellite TV service owned by AT&T*, will no
longer need to upgrade to NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX when they subscribe
to NFL SUNDAY TICKET in its 22nd season.
Anyone who subscribes to DIRECTV's NFL SUNDAY TICKET package
will be able to stream every live out-of-market regular season game
every Sunday afternoon.
"Streaming of NFL SUNDAY TICKET exploded last year— up 35%. This
further proves customers want to watch their favorite team wherever
they are," said David Christopher,
chief marketing officer, AT&T Entertainment Group. "That will
grow more this year, now that every customer can enjoy live games
on a second screen or on-the-go without having to pay more."
In addition to the streaming option to watch virtually anywhere,
the basic NFL SUNDAY TICKET package will continue to deliver every
regular season game live every Sunday afternoon on satellite TV.
Fans can also watch in the comfort of their living room. All
in HD. They'll have Game Mix channels, featuring up to 8 live games
on one screen. And can also track scores, stats and standings on
their TV. Fantasy fans can follow their players and team stats
throughout the day on Player Tracker.
NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX includes the regular package features and
premium services familiar to avid fans, like the popular
RED ZONE CHANNEL and the exclusive
DIRECTV FANTASY ZONE™ Channel. These services are available
on TV and for streaming. Short Cuts is a streaming-only feature
that has replays of full games, each in less than 30 minutes.
Streaming games on NFL SUNDAY TICKET are available on
smartphones, tablets, computers and other popular connected
devices.
Live games on NFL SUNDAY TICKET start Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016. For more
information, visit directv.com/NFL.
