LONDON--Cobham PLC (COB.LN) said Thursday that it has secured a 88 million pounds ($144.89 million) worth contract extension for providing charter services to Chevron's (CVX) operations in Western Australia.

The aerospace and defense company said that Cobham Aviation Services has secured the extension with Chevron Australia Pty Ltd to continue providing flights between Perth and Barrow Island.

Under the contract, which includes an initial order of GBP33 million, Cobham will introduce an Embraer 190 aircraft for the charter services. The contract expires in 2020.
