The owners of UFC, a promoter of mixed-martial arts, have put the company up for sale with a valuation of as much as $4 billion, ESPN reported Wednesday on its website, citing people with knowledge of the negotiations.

WME/IMG, a talent and sports agency, China Media Capital, the Blackstone Group (BX) and Dalian Wanda Group, are among those believed to have submitted offers for UFC, acquired by privately held Zuffa LLC for $2 million in 2001, the sports network reported. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) is representing Zuffa, the people told ESPN.
