KUALA LUMPUR--Yinson Holdings Bhd (7293.KU) said Wednesday it has secured a charter contract worth $2.54 billion for a floating production storage and off-loading vessel from Italy's ENI S.p.A. (ENI.MI).

The 15-year contract was awarded to a consortium, in which Yinson owns a 49% stake. Its local partner Oil and Marine Agencies Ghana Ltd. holds the other 51%, Yinson in a statement.

The contract would begin contributing to earnings beginning financial year 2018 and may be worth up to $3.26 billion if extended for another five years.

The vessel will process oil and gas from the Offshore Cape Three Points block about 60 kilometers off the coast of Ghana, it added.
