BURLINGTON, Massachusetts,
May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Attunity Ltd. (NASDAQ CM: ATTU), a leading provider of
information availability software solutions, announced today that
Fanzz Sports Apparel, Inc., one of the largest providers of sports
apparel and merchandise in the United
States, has selected Attunity's high-performance data
replication solution, Attunity Replicate, to accelerate and
facilitate the distribution, replication and availability of its
data for business operations and analytics needs.
Founded in 1987 and owned by the Larry H. Miller Group of
Companies, Fanzz started as an in-stadium store selling team
merchandise at Utah Jazz games. The company has since expanded to
sell officially licensed NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS and NCAA products
in over 120 stores in 22 states in the U.S., as well as online at
Fanzz.com. As it grew, Fanzz was challenged by its existing complex
and time-consuming replication processes, which were lacking
performance, consolidation and reliability. Fanzz knew it needed a
change when the process began negatively impacting the accuracy of
sales data being reported to executive management.
To remedy the issue and streamline operations, Fanzz required an
automated data integration solution that could enable more accurate
views of data while accelerating response to lines of business
requesting real-time operational reporting and analytics. Fanzz
also wanted to avoid the expense of licensing additional SQL
servers. To support its evolving business requirements and gain
access to real-time data that can positively impact its bottom
line, Fanzz chose Attunity Replicate.
"In order to react to rapidly changing requirements, such as
apparel inventory based on playoff results and players transferring
between teams, access to real-time data is critical to our
operations," said
Dustin Spangler, Director,Business
Intelligence at Fanzz. "Attunity Replicate's
unmatched ease of use, performance and scalability, combined with
its expansive platform support and elegant execution, will allow us
to improve our Big Data analytics initiatives and ultimately
provide our customers with a resource that rewards their loyalty
and knowledge."
"We are thrilled that Fanzz, one of the largest sports apparel
and merchandise retailers in the country, chose Attunity Replicate
to deliver reliable data for its analytics initiatives," stated
Lawrence
Schwartz, VP Marketing at
Attunity. "By providing an optimized data loading solution that
will consolidate multiple online systems into a single data
warehouse, Attunity Replicate will empower Fanzz with critical
visibility of consistent and reliable information in a timelier
manner that will ultimately arm it with a stronger competitive
advantage."
