CAI International, Inc. Announces the Appointment of David Remington as Chairman of the Board

CAI International, Inc. (CAI) (NYSE: CAI), one of the world’s
leading transportation finance and logistics companies, today
announced that the Board of Directors has appointed David Remington
as its Chairman of the Board of Directors.
On January 8, 2017, the Board of Directors of CAI appointed
David Remington as the new Chairman of the Board, effective
immediately. Mr. Remington has served as a CAI director since 2010,
is the current Chairman of the Audit Committee, and was previously
the Chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Beyond his significant CAI experience, Mr. Remington has extensive
leadership experience, having been an investment banking Managing
Director of Dean Witter and President of Steiner Financial
Corporation, an equipment leasing company. Mr. Remington has a BS
in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at
Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has
previously served on four business and non-profit boards.
