WPP's Subsidiary Grey Buys Majority Stake in Maruri in Ecuador

LONDON--Advertizing firm WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Friday that its
operating company Grey, has acquired a majority stake in Maruri
Publicidad S.A., a communications services company in Ecuador for
an undisclosed sum.
Maruri's unaudited gross revenues were almost $10 million as of
December 31, 2015 with gross assets of $4 million as of the same
date.
Founded in 1991, Maruri employs 130 people and is based in
Guayaquil with an office in Quito.
WPP said the acquisition continues WPP's strategy of investing
in faster-growing markets such as Latin America.
