                                  Acquisition

The Company is pleased to announce that it today completed the purchase of the
goodwill and business assets of Haworth Moore, an accountancy practice, which is
based in Blackpool, for a total consideration of #495,840. Of this total
#165,836 was paid in cash on completion and #330,004 will be deferred and paid
in four equal instalments, at six monthly intervals, over the next two years.

The value of the goodwill is #408,340 and the business assets are
work-in-progress, with a value of #85,000, and fixtures with a value of #2,500.

Haworth Moore's turnover for the year to 31st March 2007 was #800,667 and
profits before tax were #155,044 (after deductions of partners' drawings).

S Crilley, G Hyde and D Thorn, partners of Haworth Moore will become directors
of Champion Haworth Moore Limited. G Whittle, the senior partner of the practice
will remain as a consultant.

The office in Blackpool will complement Champion's existing offices in
Southport, Preston, Chester and Manchester.
