No longer operating. Just waiting on final contingent payment(s) from buyer (if any) before making liquidating distributions. Contingent payments (if any) will happen January 2022. It's impossible to accurately estimate what the distributions will be because the last available financials are 2019 Q2. But based on the liabilities left on those statements the distributions per share would approximately be:

$0.10 - Assuming no contingent payments were received
$0.14 - Receiving just the $800K payment (seems likely)
$0.23 - Also receive 1.7M payment (based on collection of purchased STRI receivable(s))

Disclaimer: distributions would go to $0 if the liabilities went up by $2M since 2019. Or if the officers left to complete the wind-up bleed the cash down to $0 with payments to themselves for "services" they claim to perform. Updated financials would be nice.

The absolute maximum distribution would be $0.55 / share, if for some miracle the company had no liabilities at the time of sale and no additional expenses were incurred by STRI after that point.

I've accumulated STRI over the past couple of weeks. This thing has been dumpster diving for quite some time. Hopefully people start taking notice of the value.

STRI at 27c is still grossly undervalued with a market cap of $4.5M and $40M equity and about $1.2/share cash after the $6.2M sale of the Malaysia plant.

STRI will announce soon a $6.2 M from a Malaysia plant sale upon completion of deal per latest 10Q resulting in $1.2/share cash ( see page 2 "Assets held for sale"):

This will result in STRI having over $20 million cash and no debt and only 18M shares.

CEO told me that things are improving thanks to a new manager in China doing a good job. A couple of significant customers in China are in latest stage of negotiations and announcements are upcoming. Working on improving collections in China. Having to say no to unreliable clients. Organization as lean as it can be. A little more volume and STRI can return to profitable and cash preservation/increase. Looking for merger and acquisition opportunities.

CEO stated that they will resume earnings calls in the near future.
This might be a good time for you to write an update as the 27c pps makes STRI one potentially great investment with vary little downside.

STRI is so undervalued as to be beyond silly. CEO/BOD should immediately sell the company or even simply dissolve the company and payout all the balance sheet cash to shareholders. Pretty crazy to be selling for sub.1 PS and EV/EBITDA of about 0.2. This EV/EBITDA is about 20 or 30X lower than where it should be. I was happy to be able to add some shares today.

STRI has hit the ol' scanner and has a fair chance of a bounce at these levels. Stocks that have declined this badly almost always retrace higher, bounce or dip some and come right back to this point before a further decline.
Contacting me with the fundamentals about the company does not change my criteria for scanning stocks.

If you just started shorting this stock, it might be a bad idea as this is totally oversold!
