Bhang chocolate, ranked the number-one cannabis product at the Ontario Cannabis Store in the provincially-managed retailer's quarterly report, is considered a leader in the chocolate edibles category in the US and Canada. Known for its award-winning line of edibles, Bhang's Ice Chocolate recently won first place in High Times' 2021 NorCal People's Choice Cannabis Cup. The company has been innovating new products and is rolling out its fast-acting hot chocolate SKUs just in time for the holidays. Bhang Hot Chocolate will be available across California retail locations on December 17, 2021.

Bhang Hot Chocolate is made with nanotechnology, which means it will provide fast-acting onset. The product is mixed with the consumer's milk of choice, which allows for optimal flexibility. Vegan, gluten-free, keto-friendly, and lactose-free options are all possible, depending solely on the milk chosen. Bhang Hot Chocolate is made with all-natural ingredients and sustainably-sourced cocoa. It comes in a box of five pouches, each with 5mg THC, or one 5mg THC single-serving pouch.

The company will be at the HOF in Palm Springs December 8-9, sharing non-medical, THC-free samples of its new Hot Chocolate (available for pre-order), as well as a sneak peek of its next product offering, Hard Fruit Drops, with sweet and sour non-infused samples available at the show. Bhang's Hard Fruit Drops will be available in early 2022.

"These new product launches are logical extensions of our brand," says Jamie L. Pearson, Bhang's President and CEO. "We have been patient in innovating. Every Bhang product has to deliver what we're known for - providing a delicious, consistent experience. Most of the THC-infused powdered drinks on the market don't taste good. They are bitter, grainy, and gritty and typically have a cannabis aftertaste. Our hot chocolate is silky-smooth, and the only flavor from start to finish is Bhang's rich chocolate. It is a perfect addition to our lineup during the holiday season."

Hard Candy marks Bhang's first move outside the gourmet chocolate edibles subcategory. "We were looking to develop a product that maintains its integrity in all temperatures/year-round, while also fitting Bhang's core competency and our mission. We make delicious, consistent products that transform the fairly enjoyable into the ridiculously fun," Pearson says, "and the hard candy format aligns perfectly with that, alongside our dedication to precise dosing."

Bhang plans to roll these products out in all other locations internationally where legislative and manufacturing conditions permit.

I don't think they could have done any worse if they tried or maybe that was the hidden agenda. They sure as hell aren't putting shareholders first. Private companies that go public and still run as though they are private and ignore shareholders send investors to the exit. The ipo timing was the worst as all the pot companies were getting right valued and their marketcaps are getting devastated. The future value irrational pricing and the amount of money management threw away to do acquisitions caught investors attention and commonsense and normal business fundamental valuations kicked in. All governments involved didn't help either with foot dragging and inability to get the storefronts open. In Canada we had 120 licensed producers with crops and nowhere to legally sell because the largest province was playing games of preference which caused distrust. Canada it seems is finally getting the long awaited value added edibles/drinkables into retailers and dispensaries. The US still won't allow inter state transportation and leave investors to rely on shakey State law to protect them from Fed interference, seizures of capital and possibly criminal charges. There are well established licensed producers in Canada and elswhere that want a footprint in the US but are fearful because the rules aren't clear. Bhang did a lot of heavy lifting developing 100 shelf ready products of quality and award worthy and fumbled the ball, possibly deliberately with shareholders who found better investments or withdrew from the pot space altogether. In my mind the best is yet to come and it could come as soon as the presidential election and it will be exciting and hugely profitable, just like a lot of the Canadian potpreneurs only 10x bigger but it still comes down to well run public and private companies making all the right moves. Ignoring shareholders is not that. glta and dyodd

πŸ‘οΈ0
geodcan geodcan 4 years ago
still flatter than piss on a plate. No plan or ability to spark this to life. We will wind up like Dixie an a forever halted takeover. 10 years existence and 100 products on shelves. that is a lot of lifting by comparison to a lot of newbie potpreneurs and is definitely worth more than what the market is giving it. We've got to have eyes on us from a lot of companies that don't have what we have to offer by way of IP, manufacturing know-how and recipes.

Crazy seeing it at these levels. So much potential for the company and it’s subsidiary. I’m not in, but was eyeballing awhile back. The liquidity is terrible, up almost 10% on 24000 shares? How would you sell, even if you wanted too??

I live in California and have bought Bhang chocolates many times and love the product. I don't blame you for buying this at .60 since it's a well recognized edibles company. The FDA sucks and dragged all these stocks down. At least you can cost avg down here ?I think it's a steal at these prices. Too much potential here.
πŸ‘οΈ0
geodcan geodcan 4 years ago
I dumped 10 k in at .60c and at the time thought it was cheap. I didn't imagine they would screw up the ipo like I believe they did. The bones of the company are still good but they got a nasty scar from that ipo handling and the fact that they seem to be choosing to ignore shareholders and their questions. Not a private company anymore once you start to slop at the public trough. Why else would a company go public if it wasn't to access public investor's money? The current price seems unbelievably low for what they have in the way of products and brand building but they have to get somebody that is going to move past the last faux pas. I hope there's a suitor out there that will rush in and run this right as a publicly traded company. More red or black than ever now with this low shareprice.

geodcan geodcan 4 years ago
This company has so much potential that I can't believe they fumbled it like they did. All of the pieces have got to be worth more than the current sp. Almost 10 years of company building in a new exciting field and so ill-equipped to handle publicly traded life. Still has hope if they get the right people to push this forward. I can see cbd in chocolate offerings as a nicer alternative to choking down pills for aches, pains or anxiety, especially award winning products. I am a heavy believer in beverages but also less invasive forms of ingestion than smoking. Some big MSO has got to be interested in what we have developed and won awards for. jmho, glta and dyodd

geodcan geodcan 4 years ago
I hate to think that so much potential has been ruined because they didn't know how to act as a publicly traded company. Going public gives access to public investors money and those people who invest want to know that their interest is being represented by management. I am in a quandary trying to decide to average down or get out. 9 years and 100 skus and awards has got to be worth something in the right hands????

I hear ya! Bad timing is only the small part of this lacklustre launch. This management was totally unprepared to do what new ipos must do which is to take care of the shareholders. Their latest presentation was good and this company has good bones with 100 skus and a near 10 year survival rate, which very likely has shareholders in doubt that this will continue. Shareprice and volume are barometers of sentiment by investors and maybe these guys should have held off on the ipo until the tide turns on the sentiment for the greenrush. I jumped on board too early when I already felt that the sp was beat down. Commonsense tells me to average down but my gut tells me to hang on to my dough. Dixie seems to be doing better and they have the same kind of pedigree and a potential beverage deal in the works with AriZona Iced Tea.

Is our management mortally wounded. Not even a hand put out to break our fall. I noticed another similar company of about the same calibre and track record, Dixie got about a 40% bump up on a couple of marginal nrs.
I know it has been a shytshow for greenrush stocks but these guys have done some heavy lifting and then dropped the ball. It looks like we have taken the stance of nobody move nobody gets hurt, except the investors they went to for funds. Clearly not ready for public life and totally ignored the shareholders who supported their ipo.

75% Bhanging from when I jumped in. New interim pres and one of the sci-fi guys moved on down the road. I hope the new blood brings some driving force for a new ipo because this has had the shyt kicked out of it. I was just about ready to try to capitalize on the dead cat bounce until I found out how much they spent and the shareholders got nothing to bolster the shareprice.
For sure somebody could come along and pick up the pieces of which there are some good ones.

Serious headwinds and outgoing tide for the green and gold rush stocks. Most of the new ipos are getting pulled because of lack of interest. Them that launched crapped out. The whole market has had a good run and is due for a correction. I still had a lot of hope for some of the serious newcomers to public trading in the greenrush field and felt really good about Bhang but the market is the market and the sentiment is not there right now. Canada phase 2 edibles isn't shaping up to be the deal we expected and US Federal release of pot from seizure and prosecution is inching towards happening but commonsense and politics don't work in lockstep.
