Business Wire
Kintera Inc. (NASDAQ:KNTA) today announced that CopperKey, a
Web-based predictive marketing software solutions company, is the
winner of the first Kintera Connect Developers Challenge
sponsored by Kintera. The winner was revealed at Kinteras annual
User Conference. Gilbert, Ariz.-based CopperKey is a Kintera
Connect partner and utilized Kinteras Application Programming
Interface (API) to integrate Predictive IQ, an automated analytics
and predictive modeling software as a service, with Kinteras donor
management system. The application will provide nonprofit
organizations with the ability to produce model leads on demand,
graphically view the characteristics of donors, and enhance
existing data. Data is pulled from Kinteras donor management
system into the Predictive IQ application where it is analyzed
before pushing the modified and/or updated data back into Kinteras
donor management system. The data is stored in Kinteras donor
management system where it can be used to increase the
effectiveness of various communication, fundraising, lead
generation and retention strategies. The CopperKey integration was
selected because it is a deep integration that successfully
addresses the needs of nonprofit organizations, said Steve
Johnson, vice president of channel for Kintera. CopperKeys
Predictive IQ, which provides real-time analytics, will enable
organizations to gather a deeper understanding of their donors,
discover new potential donors, and enhance donor data.
Additionally, because it is integrated with Kinteras donor
management system, nonprofits will be able to store and manage all
donor data in a single system creating a simple and effective way
for nonprofits to better manage donor information. CopperKey was
one of three finalists in the Developers Challenge. Other
finalists included CircleUp and FreeCause. CircleUp, an emerging
provider of social messaging services and Kintera Connect partner,
integrated its communication management tool with Kintera. CircleUp
provides an easy way for organizers to communicate with groups or
volunteers using e-mail or instant messaging, and receive a single,
organized result that can be acted on immediately and shared with
the group. The newly created application enables organizations
using Kinteras donor management to pull contacts from the system
for use in CircleUps tool. For more information on CircleUp,
please visit www.circleup.com. FreeCause, a Kintera Connect partner
that specializes in social networking applications and other Web
2.0 fundraising tools for nonprofits, created SnapCMS using
Kinteras APIs. SnapCMS enables the exchange of data between an
organizations Facebook group and Kinteras donor management
system. Organizations such as the Heart and Stroke Foundation that
are using both SnapCMS and Kinteras donor management system are
able to quickly and easily attract new supporters to
SnapCMS-powered Facebook applications where information on new
supporters is captured and automatically stored in Kinteras donor
management system. For more information on FreeCause, please visit
www.freecause.com. All entries were judged based on four
equally-weighted characteristics: innovation, originality, and
creativity; potential for long-term commercial success; marketplace
need; and visual design, appeal, and usability. For more
