I couldn't agree more. There aren't many companies that could have survived the VorTeq fiasco. The fact that ERII just flat out owns the PX market speaks to their excellence. I'm in.

ERII is my best stock lately!

I like the fact that the market cap is just a little over a billion, and that it appears that the need for desal plants is greater than ever before due to drought. This plus the fact that ERII's pressure exchanger technology can save money in many applications throughout industry!

ERII hit a new all time high! For many reasons this stock should move up
with eventual price targets of 40, 60, and even 80! Why? ERII finally
has a competent CEO who understands what needs to be done in order to
exploit their PX technology. I used to believe years ago that ERII
should be acquired...I no longer have that opinion as this stock should
trade at PE ratio far higher than 100 given their growth prospects over
the next 5 years.

To put it another way, this company and its PX technology has an almost
endless supply of applications. Institutions will regard ERII as a
"green" ESG darling stock worthy of a Tesla like PE ratio. Could a
much larger company benefit from acquiring ERII? Absolutely! However,
the bigger payoff may be from holding this over the next 3-5 years and
perhaps going up 4X in the process.

Maybe - hard to tell how much, if any, covering occurred today. My unscientific guess is not much. I would think that shorts woke up very uncomfortable today, and probably hung through the day to see if ERII would give back its AH and PM gains.

Given that ERII ultimately held 7 today, I would think a lot of shorts (and their brokers!) are taking a second lok at how long they can hang in the trade.

Before today, iHub had a figure of 3.5MM shares short, representing about 10% of the float. That also ws reported as 35 days to cover (at the normal trading volumes BEFORE today's mega-volume).

I don't know whether that 3.5MM/10% figure moved as a result of today's trading or not. I would imagine that there still is a reasonably large short position.
